Enjoy unique surroundings

Explore the villages surrounding Sibiu, located near the Cindrel Mountains.

Cristian is a village inhabited first by Landlers. It’s known to be the perfect host for many stork nests. Next, our recommendation is Sibiel, a typical Romanian village. Here you can admire the beauty of the surroundings and the Museum Icons on Glass.

Cisnadie is another village worth visiting. It shelters one of the most beautiful fortified churches in Transylvania. In Cisnadioara the Evangelical Church and the medieval fortress are the main attractions.
We’re sure you’ll love the surroundings.

If you love the sun, Ocna Sibiului is the perfect place to be. Spend your summer holiday enjoying the salty water, the beach and the mud treatments. You must take a healthy bath in one of the five main lakes with a high percentage of salinity and different depths. We dare you to test the salty water that keeps everything floating. It just an amazing way to spend your day swimming.

Don’t miss the Cistercian Abbey in Carta and in Avrig discover the beautiful Baroque Avrig Palace built by General Buccow in the 18th century. He gave it to the Brukenthal family, hence the new name.
